MEDITERRANEAN AND THE FUTURE

The growing geopolitical importance of the Mediterranean is irrefutable proof that the basin represents an irreplaceable hub for global trade, given that 15% of goods transported by sea (equal to 20% of the value of global trade) pass through it. It is not, therefore, a passive subject in global dynamics, but an active player that must build a new shared architecture Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), the backbone of the Italian economy, can become a model of inspiration for the economic growth of the Mediterranean nations.
Training and social inclusion are fundamental to prepare young people for the new demands of the market, with skills suitable for the changed socio-environmental scenarios.
During this Live Streaming, a dialogue between the public and private sectors was therefore addressed, specifically highlighting how the latter is reacting to this new paradigm.
